From your home screen, click on the ‘Admin’ tab from which you will be directed to a page with several options.
You will need to click on ‘Manage Locations’ from where you can add and edit your premises locations. You will only be able to access this if you have the permission to.
Add a Location
The locations function allows you to add main premises locations followed by layers of sub-locations associated with that area. For example, Hotel might be the main location, under which you may add Reception or Bedrooms 1 - 150. There is no restriction to the number of sub locations you can add and you can build in further sub layers if appropriate.
Next to the page title you will see a yellow box containing a cross, pressing this will direct you to the following screen;
Insert the name of the location you wish to add and fill out the address field. ‘+ Add Location’. That will be the main location for that set and you will be taken back to the previous screen.
If you want to add a single sub location, click on the pencil icon to the right of the location you entered and you’re back to the editing screen.
To add a single sub location, click on ‘+ Sub-location’ enter the name of the sub location and click on ‘Add’. You can add more or go back to the main locations screen. YOU MUST CLICK SAVE to return to the main screen otherwise your entries won’t be captured.
If you have multiple locations to add you can do this by using the ‘+ Set of sub-locations’. An example might be all a hotel’s bedrooms.
Remember to click ‘Add’ and ‘Save’.
If you have multiple locations with the same / similar sub locations, you can complete one full location following the steps above, click save and ‘clone’ the location. Then rename the location and enter the correct address. You can also make any adjustments to the sub locations on the new cloned location.
