  • What ‘Complete all assets at once’ functionality is.

This is a setting that can be turned on within an Internal task so that more than one asset can be selected, during task completion, to be completed at the same time.

This functionality allows users to complete more than one asset at a time, it can help capture data more efficiently when the data being logged is the same as another asset, therefore saving you time.

  • How to set it up

Before I dive into showing you how to enable this feature, for those of you who would like to find out more information about how to add a task in, please have a look at the below article. In section 7, it explains in more detail about assets and how they are used within tasks - link here.

To enable the logic ready for you to use, ensure that two or more assets have been selected in the task.

Once you have done this, click on the option 'Allow assignees to complete all assets at once'.

    This is highlighted below:

When only this is selected, every time this task reoccurs, all assets will be required to be completed.

To add a specific number of assets that you would like to be completed in each occurrence, use the cycle through assets option, this can be configured by selecting the below options:

  • How to complete tasks with this feature enabled.

  • Now this feature has been activated, proceed to 'task details' and select 'complete task' which will enter you into the task itself.

  • Next, click on the highlighted yellow box below, this will bring up your list of assets to be completed in this occurance.

  • You are now able to select all or however many assets that you would like to sign off. Select the assets that you would like to collate together as one entry.

  • Select 'okay' and continue to complete the task as normal, ensure that you factor in that you are completing these assets as a collective and ensure you capture all the required details.

  • If you are happy with the task and the content you have provided within it, submit your task once you are happy that you have finished.

  • If not all required assets were signed off, the task will remain in your My Work and Dashboard, able to be completed again for the remaining assets.

  • Seeing which assets were selected as completed.

These can be viewed within task history or within the management report 'Task results'
